1st qtr check presentation
Dear 100 + Women Who Care,
We had quite an experience with Messengers of Hope Mission. This is a very well run operation! It’s organized with volunteers who clearly love what they are doing. The bus itself was built by a past volunteer who put it all together as part of his Eagle Scout project. He is still a volunteer attending college presently and now his brother is also a volunteer and repeating building another bus for his Eagle Scout project. This is totally amazing!!
Below are some of the pictures of the interior of the bus, a schedule of their deliveries, water cases, and the check amount of $8,350.00. What is even more amazing is that another donor gave them $10,000 due to the donation we gave. Good work members!
2nd QTR Check presentation
Dear 100 + Women Who Care,
This was one of the most interesting charities we’ve had and we had a large turnout for the check presentation. It could best be described as organized chaos and I mean that in the most loving and respectful way. They don’t have alot of room but between the two Patties and Eric along with Angel’s guidance, they get the job done!
They prepare food weekly and also pack snack bags weekly. There are countless small containers that are washed and then filled with water and tea. 100 Women also has a member, JoAnn Sonnak, that takes two to four bags monthly to Patti and she divides it into dog and cat food bags donated by Cindy’s Pets. Angel stated many of the homeless have pets which provide comfort and protection to them.
